Educator, Researcher and Creator. Dedicated to creating community-centered initiatives that seek to tackle our current social and political divides.

As an educator, researcher, and creator with a passion for community-centered work, my mission is to create opportunities that invite, entertain, and challenge communities in meaningful, change-inspiring dialogue. Positioning all my work predominantly in storytelling, I believe all stories should, in some capacity, seek to shed light on the experiences we would prefer to banish to dark corners. By telling stories that shine light on the darkness of our world, we discover pathways that lead to acceptance and understanding and create a beacon of hope for those whose experiences it illuminates. As such, I seek to develop arts-based research opportunities that investigate and cultivate informed, action-driven empathy that is responsive to the unique nature of an individual community.
